We’ll be covering the ins and outs of comedy in voiceover: auditioning alone for dialogue\, finding the right tone\, and what’s ok and not ok in advertising. This is a workshop\, and we will be performing previously produced radio spots\, getting direction from Andy\, analyzing our performances\, then listening to the spots that actually aired and discussing what works. \nAndy Lerner has spent decades as voice actor\, casting director\, producer\, writer & voice director. He has produced and directed thousands of radio spots – notably as one of the country’s leading resources for humor based radio commercials. He’s also produced and directed several short films\, episodic television and online content. Andy is currently voice directing SpongeBob Squarepants\, and The Patrick Star Show for Nickelodeon.\nHaving the unique perspective of working on both sides of the microphone\, he brings a depth of experience to his coaching for voice actors.
